This fun and interactive activity allows children to embrace their creativity and culinary skills, much like the dragons in Dragons Love Tacos who enjoy a wide variety of taco toppings. As they assemble their tacos using various ingredients, kids practice fine motor skills like pinching, grasping, and scooping. This taco-making experience encourages self-expression, as children can come up with imaginative taco names inspired by the dragons’ quirky personalities, enhancing their connection to the playful and humorous elements of the story.

  • Set up a taco bar with various ingredients like shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, ground beef, salsa, and guacamole.
  • Provide each child with a taco shell or soft tortilla.
  • Have them use small spoons or their hands to add ingredients to their tacos.
  • Encourage them to name their tacos, such as “Dragon’s Delight” or “Taco Rumble,” inspired by the playful themes of the musical.
