The SpongeBob Musical Youth Edition

Dive into the undersea town of Bikini Bottom with SpongeBob and his quirky circle of friends and neighbors – Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and even Plankton – in this dynamic musical with songs from music’s most legendary artists. Chaos erupts when SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation at the threat of Mt. Humongous. Just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage. The power of optimism really can save the world!

This exciting production process allows young people to develop friendships, learn about theatre, and grow as performers and people through collaborating with Orlando area professional directors, choreographers, designers, and stage managers.

•  Auditions held in April secure a spot in the cast. Roles are determined after callbacks in June. No one is cut from the cast during callbacks.
• All rehearsals and performances from July 8th on are mandatory.

Auditions: April 8 & 9, 2024

Orientation: June 3 at 6:00pm

Callbacks: June 4 & 5, 2:30-7:30pm

Rehearsals: Monday-Friday; June 6-July 9, 2:30-6:30pm (No rehearsal June 19th, July 4th, or July 5th)

Spacing Rehearsal: July 10, 1-9pm

Cue to Cue: July 11 & 12, 1-9pm

Tech: July 14, 15, 16, 1-9pm

Performances: July 19, 20, 26, 27 at 7pm July 20, 21, 27, 28 at 2pm
