Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Musical
An adventure familiar to anyone who survived middle school.
Orlando Family Stage
The Finest in Family Theater
Special modifications have been made to Pete the Cat for this Sensory-Friendly performance. Volunteer helpers are stationed in the lobby and throughout the theatre to assist patrons as they are seated. Adjustments have been made to the show’s lighting and sound effects. A quiet room is available, should patrons need to leave the theatre at any time. A Social Story, a resource guide for parents and children, is also available for download, so patrons can get a feel for the theatre experience before the day of the show.
Closed prematurely in 2020, the favorite children’s book and television character created by James Dean and Kimberly Dean comes back to life onstage in the musical Pete The Cat (February 18 – April 10, 2022), written by Sarah Hammond and Will Aronson. The minute the groovy blue cat meets The Biddles, he gets the whole family rocking- that is, except for Jimmy, the most organized second grader on planet Earth. When Jimmy draws a blank in art class during the last week of school, it turns out Pete is the perfect pal to help. Join Jimmy and Pete on an adventure of friendship and inspiration, all the way to Paris and back in a VW Bus! This Sensory-Friendly performance of Pete The Cat is presented by AdventHealth for Children.
