Overview

It begins after lunch on Melissa’s phone. Someone she does not know is texting her. Soon eight very different high-school students are getting bizarre texts from numbers they do not recognize-budding romances, bitter rivalries, even violent threats. What is going on? And what if it’s not people connecting with other people…but phones trying to connect with other phones via their people? A digital mystery for the mind and heart of the savvy texter.

This production is part of our Teen Perspective’s Lab. This program provides teens, ages 13 – 18, opportunities to work on theatre that reflects and challenges their unique perspective on the world.  Students are asked to find purpose through performance by telling stories that resonate with their own lives or by creating theatre with empathy and attention to other types of audiences.
