Orlando Family Stage’s Young Artists in the Spotlight is a program that features design work generated by art or theatre classes in schools and organizations within Central Florida that tie to the theme of the current production. Young people are encouraged to connect with our shows and stories by creating unique designs and creations inspired by the current production and are put on display for all patrons to enjoy!

This year Orlando Family Stage has partnered with UCP Bailes Community Academy, a charter school that welcomes students with and without disabilities to an environment that is all inclusive. Their art teacher, Ms. Makenna Siefke, worked with the 2nd-3rd grade class and led them through a project where they were able to explore lines as an element of art. Students were encouraged to imagine, design, and create their own Halloween bats inspired by Junie B. Jones BOO…and I Mean It! while also incorporating various technical concepts to their creations as well!

Please enjoy these art projects created by students at UCP Bailes Community Academy and get your tickets for Junie B. Jones in BOO…and I Mean It here!
