School’s Out: Seuss Day!

Oh, the fun you will have when school is not in,

With rhyming, and puppets, and stories to spin!

From Cats in tall hats to green eggs on a plate,

We will act out the tales and create something great!

It is a full day of Seuss with movement and flair,

And imagination bursting out everywhere!

What You Will Learn

• How to create a character and perform with and in front of others 
• Vocabulary and skills related to the ‘actor toolbox’; body, voice, imagination, and concentration
• How to create a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end
• How to share opinions about a story with classmates

What to Expect 

• Building and performing with puppets
• Engaging, interactive classes led by experienced teaching artists
• A supportive and inclusive environment designed for students to connect with each other
• Creative play and theatre games that explore the world, characters, and details of the class theme

What to Bring

• Students should bring a water bottle, a non-perishable lunch, AND a snack each day. Please ensure all items are nut-free.
