The world needs your soul-song! Join the Huntr/x crew as they sing, dance, and fight to keep the Honmoon, a magical music gate, in tune. Build bold characters, create epic moments, and take center stage in this K-pop meets fantasy adventure. With every beat and belt, help save the world… in style!
This program is designed for all students—whether you dream of performing onstage, simply want a fun way to make new friends, or both! This class is perfect for students who want to try something new, get creative, and have a blast—whether it is their first theatre class or their fiftieth!
What You Will Learn
- Learn and perform a variety of musical pieces and choreographed numbers
- Vocabulary and skills related to the ‘actor toolbox’ of the body, voice, imagination, and concentration
- The ability to use musicianship as a tool creating characters and telling stories through dance and vocal music
What to Expect
- A combination of musical theatre, theatre games, and acting exercises
- Engaging, interactive classes led by experienced teaching artists
- A supportive and inclusive environment designed for students to connect with each other
- Opportunities to share ideas and receive personalized feedback
- What to Bring
- Students should bring a water bottle, a non-perishable lunch, AND a snack each day. Please ensure all items are nut-free.
- All necessary class materials are provided
- Students are invited to participate in Wacky Wednesday each week! This is an optional opportunity to dress up in accordance with a class theme, which is decided upon and shared at the beginning of the week.
Extended Care
- Extended Care is available Monday-Friday, 7:30am-9am and 2pm-5:30pm for $60 per week
Presentation Day
- Friends and family are invited to experience the Escape Room on the final day of class. Invitations and exact times are announced during the week of camp.
