Young Artists in the Spotlight: Junie B. in Jingle Bells Batman Smells!

Orlando Family Stage’s Young Artist in the Spotlight is a program that features work generated by art classes in schools and organizations within Central Florida that tie to the theme of the current production. Young people are encouraged to connect with our shows and stories by creating unique visual art pieces that are put on display for all patrons to enjoy!

This year Orlando Family Stage had the opportunity to partner with the 5th graders (known as “The Doves”) from The Park School. After reading the script, each student was given the opportunity to create their own artistic interpretation of Junie B in Junie B. Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! Students used some of their favorite mediums and various patterns which they learned this year with their art teacher, Ms. Elizabeth Yeh, and created their own masterpieces.
