Orlando Family Stage
The Finest in Family Theater
Join us for the 4th Annual Rockin’ REP Rec Fest!
In partnership with the City of Orlando and the Families, Parks, and Recreation Division, Orlando Family Stage is proud to provide high quality after-school arts programming again this year.
Four community centers around the city were selected to participate in this exciting program. When deciding this year’s theme, Orlando Family Stage and the City of Orlando Families, Parks, and Recreation Division knew that our need for the arts, community-building, and connection has never been stronger for our city. This year’s show is dedicated to our city. Young people participating in the program focused on connection, the environment, community, and ensuring a bright future for many generations to come. Our theme this year is Keeping Orlando: Our City Beautiful.
Throughout the past few weeks, students from Wadeview Neighborhood Center, Dr. I Sylvester Hankins Park Neighborhood Center, Rock Lake Neighborhood Center, and Dover Shores Neighborhood Center participated in sessions that focused on skill-building in dance, drama, music, and even spoken word poetry. Students learned how to develop supportive and productive ensembles, while learning the value of community and the arts.
On April 12th at 7:30pm, students will perform at Orlando Family Stage for a one night special event. Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE community event!
