2024 - 2025 GENERAL SEASON AUDITIONS
Orlando Family Stage is seeking Non-Equity actors for the upcoming season. Please see the following for the Audition & Show Schedule, Audition Guideline, and Character Breakdown. Housing is not provided. All roles are paid. The adult non-Equity pay for full season shows begins at $425 per week for these productions. Theatre for the Very Young productions operate on a different model that includes local area touring. Those rates will be shared before callbacks once a schedule is set. There is an under-18 youth actor rate that can be provided when invited to callbacks. Youth Academy productions are not listed here and will have separate audition guidelines and information.

General Auditions will be video submissions. Callbacks in August, September, and possibly October will be in person. Please submit a video to the link above by August 2, 2024.
All actors should be aware that full season productions at Orlando Family Stage include MORNING PERFORMANCES during weekdays. Our weekly show schedule is: Monday at 10:30am, Tuesday at 10:30am, Thursday at 10:30am, Friday at 10:30am*, Saturday at 2:00pm and 5:30pm, and Sunday at 10:30am and 2:00pm**. There are no performances on Wednesdays. A Charlie Brown Christmas and Theatre for the Very Young shows will be a slightly different show schedule and will be shared at the callbacks at the latest.
*Certain field trip titles will have two performances each weekday, with the second show generally beginning at noon and completed by 1:30pm.
**Some of the weekend showtimes may vary slightly because of show length and all times are subject to change, but these are the general times. Calendars available at callbacks.
// Audition Guidelines
- Orlando Family Stage will only be accepting video auditions for this season. All auditions must be submitted via the link below.
- Actors should prepare one comedic monologue and a portion of an up-tempo song. Actors are given 3 minutes total to perform both monologue and song; submissions should not exceed 3 minutes. If you are only submitting for Junie B., then a song is unnecessary.
- Please double check that you have stated your name clearly at the beginning of the video.
- All actors should provide a digital headshot and resume.
- All actors must be 11 years of age or older.

// CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS & CASTING REQUIREMENTS
- We strongly encourage all races, ethnicities, gender identities, ages, sizes, and disabilities to audition for all productions.
- Actor Tracks are subject to change and ensemble tracks are listed as possible actor tracks that give a general idea. Actor tracks finalized after auditions.
- Ages are simply guidelines and are fluid.
- Swings will be hired for each production. Swings will be paid for all rehearsal and performance weeks. This is a change from previous years when rehearsals and when the swing had to go on were paid. Swings may or may not actually appear in every performance, but have a swing contingency plan when covering certain roles.
