Audition Edge Workshop (December 16)

Build your confidence for auditioning at this fun and informative Q&A and workshop! Whether you are preparing for your very first audition or looking to refresh the fundamentals, you will gain valuable tips, ask questions, and discover that auditioning can actually be fun! Students are encouraged to attend with a parent/guardian.

What You Will Learn:

• Review audition vocabulary, procedure, and etiquette.
• Learn how to choose effective audition pieces for yourself.
• Practice introductions and monologues.
• Experiment with fundamental acting tools that you can apply to any audition.

What to Expect:

• A fun and informative workshop covering the fundamentals of audition technique for students and their parents/guardians to learn together
• This workshop is best suited for students new to auditioning, or those looking to refresh or hone their skills
• There will be one 10-minute break during this workshop. Feel free to bring water and a snack, but know we do not recommend leaving the theatre during this short break.
