No job is too big and no pup is too small! Adventure Bay has a busy day ahead! Baby birds need rescuing, lost treasure has been spotted, and Mayor Goodway’s chickens are missing again! From daring rescues to silly surprises, every mission is another chance to help keep Adventure Bay safe. Get ready to bark, play, and save the day!
This program is designed for all students, whether you dream of performing onstage, simply want a fun way to make new friends, or both! From first-timers to seasoned performers, everyone is welcome to try something new, get creative, and have a blast.
What You Will Learn
- How to create a character and play pretend with and in front of others
- Vocabulary and skills related to the ‘actor toolbox’: body, voice, imagination, and concentration
- How to use dramatic play to tell the beginning, middle, and end of stories
- How to share opinions about a story with classmates
What to Expect
- Engaging, interactive classes led by experienced teaching artists
- A supportive and inclusive environment designed for students to connect with each other
- Creative play and theatre games that explore the world, characters, and details of the class theme
- Opportunities to share ideas and receive personalized feedback
What to Bring
- Students should bring a water bottle each day.
Presentation Day
- Final presentations are held on the last day of class, giving students the opportunity to showcase what they learned throughout the program. Family and friends are invited to attend, Saturday, September 26, 10am.
