This audition-based program is designed for students who want the full production experience! Take your acting to the next level by participating in a rehearsal process, experiencing costume fittings, and working with scenery, lighting, and sound for a high-quality theatrical experience. Grow as people and performers in a supportive and fun atmosphere modeled after a professional production process.

A classic story of rivalry and power, Mitchie and her friends arrive at Camp Rock, ready to spend another summer jamming out and having the time of their lives. But the new flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock’s very existence. To keep the doors open, Mitchie steps up, rallies her fellow Camp Rockers, and gets them into top shape for the ultimate showdown! 

Disney’s Camp Rock The Musical, a combination of The Disney Channel’s Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam fires up the stage with hits including This Is Me, Can’t Back Down, It’s On, and We Rock.

• Dance and vocal training, scene work, theatre games, literary analysis, and ways to navigate the production process
• Opportunities to share ideas and receive personalized feedback
• Auditions held in August secure a spot in the cast. Roles are determined after rehearsals start in September. No one is cut from the cast once rehearsals start

What to Bring

• Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack each day
• Students should bring their script and a pencil to each rehearsal
• Students should dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes each day

• Parent and Student Orientation: September 26 at 9am
• Rehearsals: 
  • Saturdays, September 26; October 3, 10, 17 from 9:30am-1:30pm
  • Saturdays, October 24, 3; November 7, 14 from 9:30am-4pm
  • Wednesdays, September 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11, 18 from 4-8pm
  • Thursday, November 19 from 4:45-8pm
  • Friday, November 20 from 4:45-8pm
• Tech Week:
  • Saturday, November 21 from 9:30am-7pm
  • Sunday, November 22 from 1-8pm
  • No rehearsal between November 23-29
  • Monday- Thursday, November 30-December 1-3, 4:45-8:45pm (Rehearsal December 2 starts at 4pm)
• Performances:
  • Friday, December 4 at 7pm
  • Saturday, December 5 at 2:30pm and 7pm
  • Sunday, December 6 at 2:30pm
